In Judges 15–16, Samson’s story shows how a person can be uniquely gifted by God and still be undone by pride, self-rule, and unrepentant sin. This sermon traces Samson’s downfall through misplaced desires, confidence in God’s gifts instead of God Himself, and outward signs of devotion without a heart fully surrendered to the Lord. Yet even in Samson’s failure, God remains faithful, reminding us that no one is too far gone for His mercy and purpose. Ultimately, Samson points us to Jesus, the true and perfect Deliverer who brings real freedom from sin.
