A LEGACY

LEGACY INITIATIVE
Leaving a lasting legacy isn't about our own achievements, it is about participating in God's Mission. One way that we can leave a lasting legacy is by being a part of a church body where everyone is working in unison to create lasting impact here, near and far away. By supporting and actively participating in ministry we are planting seeds for the Gospel that will bring a harvest for generations to come.

We have to look and plan beyond ourselves, if we are going to leave a legacy. Our children and grandchildren watch as we live out and pass on our faith. By leading by example, we equip them for their own journey. As they see us sacrificing our comfort for God's mission, their eyes are opened to the joy of following Jesus. When we are committed to God's mission, it inspires and helps the next generation to pursue the same.

2025 Legacy Initiative

We punch in an address before we leave the driveway to make sure we’re headed in the right direction. We’d never dream of deciding to close our eyes when we’re behind the wheel of the car. If you want to get somewhere, you need a plan and you need to pay attention that you’re heading in the right direction!

Each year we will take time as a church to talk about our future vision and plans. As your pastor, I feel convicted about doing this, because I never feel like I’ve got time to do it! Every week has plenty of its own challenges in life and in ministry. We can get so caught up in the present that we never take time to check the maps and make sure that we’re heading in the right direction.

The 2025 Legacy Initiative Focus is: Church Expansion

Church Expansion

When we talk about church expansion this year, we are really talking about two different focuses.

Current Site Expansion

We want to be good stewards of the current church property that God has given us. We have experienced significant growth as a church, and we are anticipating that this is just the beginning!
2025 Legacy Giving will go toward:

Consistent Church Planting

Church expansion must go beyond our city/church walls. We want to be a multiplying church, training and preparing young men to pastor and start new churches where they are needed.
2025 Legacy Giving will go toward:

  • Site Planning Expenses
  • Engineering/Architectural Costs
  • Long Term: Expanded worship, kids, office space, parking, etc.
  • Long Term: Building fund for potential unknown opportunities

  • Helping new churches start (SEND Network)
  • Supporting existing church plants (SEND Network)
  • Long term: A church-planting endowment fund
  • Long term: Consistent two-year church planting residency
