Day 13 - ‘Strengthen My Hands’: The Prayer of Nehemiah

In Nehemiah 6:9, we find Nehemiah struggling against a number of enemies to finish the wall around Jerusalem. There are enemies conspiring against him, political challenges ahead, a shortage of manpower and materials and he’s tired! Instead of asking God to remove his obstacles or enemies, he asks God to strengthen his hands for the work that remained. This is a wonderful prayer for those of us who are tired, frustrated, or wearied by obstacles in our lives. God strengthened Nehemiah, and he can strengthen you as well!
