Day 11 - ‘Help Us’: The Prayer of Asa

Asa had enjoyed a long reign of peace and prosperity as the king of Judah, until he didn’t. In a day he was surrounded by the threat of an invading army that outmatched his own. Sure defeat was imminent by human means, so Asa prayed, ‘help us.’
When we face challenges in life, big or small, this prayer changes our focus and perspective. It sets our gaze on the God who is able and our hope in the One who is in control.
