Day 19 - ‘Increase Our Faith’: The Prayer of the Disciples

The disciples hear Jesus teaching about forgiveness and feel so overwhelmed by the type of forgiveness that God calls them to offer that they pray a simple but effective prayer: “Increase our faith!” Without faith, we can’t please God (Hebrews 11). It’s essential for every believer, first for salvation and then for living as followers of Christ. God is pleased when we earnestly pray and ask him for more faith.
