Day 1 - ‘Give Me Success Today’: The Prayer of Eliezer

Eliezer was sent on an important mission, to find a suitable spouse for Abraham’s son Isaac. He traveled many miles, into a foreign land, and still didn’t know what exactly he was looking for. So, he prayed. “O Lord, God of my master Abraham, please grant me success today and show steadfast love to my master Abraham.”

God answered his simple prayer: “Give me success today!” When you’ve been given an assignment by God, it is always good to pray: God, give me success!
